Tourism Boards

Tourism Boards, Chamber & Visitors Bureau and Public Relations people have a very clear agenda; they want to promote their part of the world. I work with Tourism people to find out where our interests match. For instance, Tourism Florida presented a great opportunity to kayak the Suwannee River and I had the contacts with magazines that might like stories about that kind of experience. This, as they say, was an instant win-win situation. The Tourism people provide me with a hosted experience. I in turn, worked hard to ensure they would get some great exposure. I am very careful to commit only to places/experiences that I know I’ll love.
